Since the implementation of the applicable legal system in the field of Data Protection, arising mainly out of the Law of Data Protection – Organic Law 15/1999 December 13 – and of the Regulation of security measures of the automated files – Royal Decree 994/199, 11 June, require legal knowledge as much as information technology, the office ARASA & DE MIQUEL has formed a company specialised in this matter, together wth the computer consultant SI – Legal Solutions S.L. called PROTECDATA S.L. which lends its services in all questions related to:

• Formulation of sector Type Codes as foreseen in art.32 of the law for groups and organisations of companies, public and private, where they establish the conditions of organisation, system of work, applicable procedure, security rules in the setting of programmes or equipment, obligations of those involved in the treatment, such as the guarantees in its area, for the exercise of people’s rights.
• Audits of systems and organisations.
• Drawing up of Security Documents and the implementation of their rules in the systems and organisation.
• Individual introduction of processes and systems of management of personal data in agreement with the legal system.
• General advice in this matter.
• Appeals by way of administration and contentious-administration of eventual sanctions in this matter.
